The Left? The Left is shadow of itself. By thinking there is a Left much less that the Dems should organize around it you simply perpetuate the myth of left versus right in America. The vast majority of Americans are very poorly served by Bush, but they are not the "Left" -- they are the Center. As for Dean, show me where you think he is the "Left". The Center of America DID NOT WANT TO GO TO WAR IN IRAQ WITHOUT THE UN. The Dems sold the Center down the river, thinking they needed to support the war to win mid-term elections. Of course it simply meant they had abandoned the Center (not to mention your mythical "Left"). Opposition to the unilateral invasion of Iraq was well-founded and centrist -- it was just completely unrepresented in national politics.
