i don't think anyone is arguing that transaction has a funny smell, based on the evidence we've been provided in the press...

it's the wider implication of breen attempting to re-define insider trading and stock manipulation that i believe have so many people raising their eyebrows.

that said, most otc companies would jump at the chance to get a block of stock off without harming their stock price (ie to shorts who are just covering their position). and, if elgindy realized he made a mistake when he called brown a bad guy, exiting his short position is not a crazy, unreasonable move either.

which is why i've said there seem to be very reasonable excuses for most of elgindy's activities.
