I went to Laredo and Nuevo Laredo where there was snow. It wasn't all that much there, but it was the first snow in 25 years, and the only white christmas on record. We had a good time, and some great meals. My sister is hosting an exchange student from Japan, and we brought her with us into Mexico (she has been on the border for 6 months but never crossed it). She had some great perspectives on it all and pointed out many things we had overlooked in our familiarity. It did complicate crossing back as we had to go through the immigration lines and they are a lot longer than the U.S. citizen lines. TP
