Why do you debate with someone who is dishonest and refuses to acknowledge facts?

Seems like a waste of time....some people would rather simply hate than think about the long term consequences of the actions they advocate........

I think the democrats would have voted for colonizing mars if they thought they could have picked up seats in the midterm elections -- they behaved in a completely unprincipled manner -- and they lost those elections. They deserved to lose. The Dems need to stand for something to earn the respect of the American people. They voted for the war -- they gave Bush a blank check. They can't cancel payment now. They abandoned the Center, and we as a nation are paying for it. The Dems failed America.

Did Bush read the National Intelligence Estimate? No. Did Rice read the National Intelligence Estimate? No. Did Kerry read the National Intelligence Estimate? No. The politicians and bureaucrats love to cite "faulty intelligence", which would be a slightly more convincing argument had any of them actually read the primary intelligence document that formed the basis for justifying war. But they didn't -- and they don't accept responsibility for the faulty decisions they made. Kerry partially admitted he was wrong -- but used the excuse that he was misled, which to a certain extent is true. Bush and Rice should have been run out of town for dereliction of duty, but that is not always the way these things turn out. For her part in this incompetence, Rice got promoted. It pays to be loyal in politics, no matter how many fine young people have to die as a result.
