ELGINDY and his subscribers also posted it on various Internet bulletin boards, chat rooms and on related websites, often assuming fictitious identities to do so.

The two key phrases are "his subscribers" and "fictitious identities." It could well be that Breen was trying to find an evil sounding way to say "Elgindy and his subscribers posted on message boards using aliases." Had he wanted to imply what you are inferring, I think Breen likely would have written "each often assuming multiple fictitious identities to do so."

FALSE SI ALIASES. So we had AP and friends using multiple SI names posing as members and successful traders in order to deceive the public.

Far as I know, Tony never used multiple aliases.

Now let's consider Dobry. He's used hundreds of handles to spread his lies....
