Notice the volumes in the markets, and CNBC's ratings.

This is a secular bear market, something I didn't think possible 3 years ago before the Bush spending bonanza and warmongering. We're back in the 70s economic climate, with about the same caliber of leadership.

Of course you can have a party and talk about the good times with Larry Kudlow if you like. I hear Larry is pushing a concept that 150K jobs per month is no longer a requirement to sustain population growth - probably because the Bush economy can't achieve these "lofty goals" <cough> even though we created 400K jobs/month routinely in the 90s and this was even prior to the bubble that some here constantly use to explain away the current malaise.

How long before we get that TRILLION DOLLAR DEFICIT would you say? Just one more war... iran, syria... think Bush can do it? I do, he's quite a man (read: fool)
