Thomas Sowell, a conservative academic, comes at this with an ideology. Yup. If you read his scholarly works, you'll understand how he, at one time a self-described Marxist, came to that ideology. Government has rarely been stronger, more expensive or more intrusive than it is under Bush Yup. I can excuse part because of the war, which I fear is necessary, but Bush is not my idea of a conservative, let alone a libertarian. There are a minute fringe of Libertarians who loosely fit your caricature. I invited you to learn a little more about a subject with which I think you have little familiarity. Oh well....
