Why would AP set up an FBI agent with a personal account with AP capital? Que????? Another one of his "charity" projects? AP ever do that for anyone at SI? What did AP expect to receive in return for that funding? Nada? OK.

I can buy that. Tony doesn't strike me as the type of guy to pay in advance, i.e. to have compensated Royer on a regular basis prior to Royer first proving he can first make him money. And had Royer proven as such, the likely compensation would have been Elgindy showing him how to make profitable trades accordingly. Given what we have heard about Royer's trading, it doesn't appear he was either taught or learned much.
