From a recent eln.h press release:

2005-01-13 12:45 ET - News Release

Mr. Harry Barr reports

El Nino Ventures Inc.'s president and chief executive officer, Harry Barr, purchased a total of 180,000 units on Jan. 5, 2005, at a purchase price of 20 cents per unit by way of private placement. Each unit consisted of one common share of the company and one-half of one share purchase warrant exercisable at a purchase price of 30 cents for a period of 12 months.

Mr. Barr now owns directly and indirectly a total of 2,002,799 shares, which represents 35.4 per cent of the company's issued and outstanding shares.

%%%

On the 10th, another PR noted the completion of a 1mn share pp (presumably the 180K units above were part of that?) and a second PR on the 13th announced a new PP of 375K units. Not sure whether the 35.4% mentioned above is taking account of one or both of these PPs -- perhaps not given that it was expressed as prop'n of issued and outstanding rather than fully diluted.
