Okay, it's true that that's back to front because moving mass from the equator to nearer the poles would speed up Earth's rotation. But when discussing ridiculous things, we don't need to be bound by actual physics.

Taikun was making up silly stuff, so I figured I might as well join in too. I note that nobody pointed out that moving oil towards the poles would speed Earth up, not slow it down.

PS: Migratory birds have a similar effect as they fly to and from the polar areas.
