Hi Anna:

Welcome back! And thanks for posting the CSL PR. Things are getting really interesting and the market action is beginning to show it. There are some significant buyers coming in for the first time in many years -- and still not many sellers. As CC suggested, I should have picked CSL for Loantech's contest because I'd be well in the lead by now! :^(

This bit in the PR really interests me...

<The Company is pursuing a “quick start” plan to remove several million tons of troublesome sand & gravel sediments surrounding an intake pipe for the Puerto Ordaz potable water supply. This plan is to be done simultaneously with the sub-bottom profiling and sampling of the main portion of the reservoir.>

So it looks as though in addition to doing the prior feasibility work, Cadre is going to be moving millions of tons of "stuff" fairly soon. The question is whether the VZ government is going to be paying them for this, and at what rate? If so, this could be megabucks for a little company like this.

I'm going to give them a call tomorrow to find out about this. Meanwhile I'm hiding away trying to finish a proposal for a client. I'd sooner be online but the deadline's tomorrow. Ah well... :^)

Talk to you soon,
Howy

Excellent Anna, thanks ... i see Howie's already got it up to 6-to-10 -g-

No mention of either Bateman or Seabulk here, i wonder how involved they will be in the financing of all this ... state of the art dredges and pipelines or conveyor systems do not come cheap, this you can bet your boots on .... ah, Howie in a later post says this on that - 'At this point CSL still owns 100 percent of the project, but this is likely to reduce as the financing is raised and pieces of the project are JV'd. They don't intend to do much of the financing by issuing much more stock.' .... this would explain the way so little stock is coming out into the rise here, no doubt ... in a lot of cases insiders and friends would be shoveling it out the door to get cash to take down new placements .... not much over 100k volume since this release came out, that's tightly held

The engineering will be interesting to see, i'm curious as to how they get the material to shore ... the dredge concept is fairly easy to imagine [though there might be space-age surprises there too], but whether they use barges or a pipeline or a conveyor system, is one of my questions .... gravel can really move on a conveyor, it doesn't look like much is on it, and there isn't much at any given time, but it's travelling at a good rate and the pile builds up fast .... we'll see ..... and how many gold grams per tonne, hmmm .... cheers
