Is there any extensive overclocking data on the D0 steppings? If 1.8 GHz 3000+ can easily reach 2.6 GHz with air cooling, wth aren't they selling some 2.2 and 2.4 GHz 90nm parts?!

I've almost bought an S939 motherboard and a 3200+ a couple times now. Your data makes the urge harder to resist! (Kind of like a DRBSian stock-buying urge.)

PS - are there any PCIe video cards at less than $180 that can be used in SLI mode on the Asus SLI. They are less than $180 around here. (I would only buy 1 video card to start.)

BUGGI, the speculation was based on the assumption that the (supposed) AMD slides found over the weekend are correct. If they are, they indicate that for the desktop, D stepping will see at most 3500+, or 2.2GHz.

What kind of memory timings did you use? I had bad luck trying to over clock my winchester 3000+, but I am a newbie at that. I was using agressive 2-3-2-5 memory timings, bank cycle time 12 and dram idle time 16. Everything is perfectly stable at default settings, but when I tried the MSI dynamic core bios settings, it was not stable. Do I need to loosen up the memory timings when I use core? Should I not use core?
