The language of Kennedy and Bush was the same. It was the person who delivered it that changed the message. With Kennedy it brought hope, with Bush fear.

What you fail to realize is that the man and the message can be two very different things. I fault Bush, because he is so diplomatically inept that every one of his actions or statements is taken as a threat by the world.

But to blame his speech is silly. His speech was no different than Kennedy's. All this shows is the lack of political capital Bush has in the world.
