"And Bill doesn't object to wingnut, so we have decided that is okay, also."

Well, Ok its just a label. Wingnut is a term directed at people leaning to the right wing politically. A literal wingnut is a nut that goes over a bolt and you 'spin' it on the bolt to get it snug. So, is spinning the connotation because that would imply that conservatives are dishonest (liars). Or is the connotation that you are out on the right wing so you must be nuts as in crazy. Well either of those connotations seems a bit bigoted. Perhaps either or both connotation is implied when using this term. But maybe Bill doesn't object because he has a thick skin and honestly thinks you language police types are a bunch of doltish goofs. That, seems to be enough justification for you to categorise it as acceptable in your name calling nomenclature.

OK ... I get it. I always got it. winky winky

Who's Bill and what do you mean when you ask, "what is it with you and Spongebob?" Are you casting veiled aspersions or do really not understand that I think the whole controversy is stupid?
