This story is muchado about nothing. As I said yesterday. There is nothing new about using Special Forces teams to collect intelligence information or even hiring spies to work for them. It has been going on all 43 years, I've been a member of the SF community. The KGB has known about that since before I got in the business. The East German Stazi and I'm sure lots of other intel agencies (both friendly and unfriendly) know about it. The only folks who don't seem to know are a few rooky liberal reporters who learned an old story that they thought is new and tried to blow it up into a big revelation. I expect it to fizzle out quickly.
