ALT, As of this moment, I'm sitting on about 54,000 baseball size (but square) lumps of pink granite cobbles. Laid in a beautiful fan pattern covering 6,000 SF. The blocks are from a courtyard of a historic mansion / hospital (Trumbauer Architectural design, Elkins estate.) Breathtaking design and view from a wonderful estate located in Whitemarsh, PA It's being demolished to make way for a 100 acre, $1,000,000+ each, retirement home community. Who cares about history? Apparently a mere few. I stand corrected, history is valuable if you can profit from it I plan to sell these block to a customer who appreciates good design.
