I don't think they were trashing the stock so much as pointing out that the stock was trash. If someone discovers a company is perpetrating a fraud, why shouldn't they notify the SEC? You think they should sit on their hands and let innocent investors get defrauded?

oli ass,er: this is the response i would expect from a guy... who sued discount brokerage firms because he lost $10mm performing self directed trades you really should sue your parents for giving you defective genes. >You know what, you all were using the SEC to attempt to manipulate stock prices. You admit it: you load up short after finding some dirt on the company, then barrage the SEC from multiple sources - all part of the common plan to trash the stock - and then pray there's SEC litigation PR so you can haul in profits. You now boast about how fast you got SEC to issue PR. UH, I don't think FBI and SEC were established to be abused this way why be you, AP, Goldfinger, Mama Bear et al. The fact that you still truly believe this kind of conduct is acceptable shows that yesterday didn't teach you a thing.
