I'll repeat the law for you, since it seems not to have sunk in:

For the purposes of this chapter, the term “scheme or artifice to defraud” includes a scheme or artifice to deprive another of the intangible right of honest services.

Lots of posters here made predictions about AP's RICO trial, claiming this was never a pattern of ongoing wire fraud, giving rise to racketeering violations. Now we've seen the results. So, I wouldn't be making any judicial predictions in advance, we'll see in due course.
