Mindmeld, For instance, if it had been JFK, Reagan, Bush Sr., or Clinton who was advocating an second invasion of Iraq, I bet they would have had the whole world clamoring to help us.

It was a tough sell job. Clinton wouldn't have even tried, and Reagan would have probably just gone in without asking for anyone's permission. I'm not sure about JFK or Bush Sr.

One thing is for sure, though. Bush gambled his political reputation on WMD because he thought that would be the easiest point to sell. The WMD weren't found, and now Bush has to rely on political sleight-of-hand that isn't impressing anyone except his die-hard supporters.
