You at least do listen, even it if it is with bile fulminating. Do you think that an entertainer would maximize their financial reward by catering to the fringe, or to the middle? I'll assume you hypothetically said middle. That being said, since most of us can agree that Rush is not a Journalist, but an entertainer. His stated goal is to get really rich from entertaining people. If you will bear with me I would like to use these to form a syllogism 1. Financial reward is maximized by catering to the largest available market. 2. Rush Limbaugh's goal is to maximize his financial reward. Let’s try a couple of possible conclusions: a. Rush Limbaugh is a far right of center extremist because the few people on the fringe is the largest market he could hope for. HMMM - Does that sound like it fits to you? I just doesn't sound right to me. b. Rush is a little right of center, because by serving the center of the market abandoned by the liberal NYT, and other FMSM he can serve the largest market. You have proof of the FMSM's bias. Thus b. sounds more logical, does it not? Ocham's razor states that once you have eliminated the conclusions that do not fit, that which remains is your answer. BBC and NPR are far left organizations. BBC got in trouble for being on the left of labour party PM Tony Blair in the falsification of charges against him and the intelligence agency. (Reminds me of some American TV station, hmmm.) NPR - Juan Williams, Mara Liason, etc. There are no moderates allowed to counter balance the liberals. Don't forget that research proved that PBS (with which NPR is affiliated) was biased in their Presidential coverage.
