tejek, nice find. I will requote one sentence from Jefferson from his letter that you posted:
"I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof, thus building a wall of separation between church and state.

Jefferson states it better than we all do. He said very explicitly that no law should be enacted to prohibit the fee expression of religion. If we choose to create a Christian Club in a public school. No law should be enacted to prohibit that, as per Jefferson.


That's not the interpretation of the courts nor what Jesus preached......give unto Ceasar that which is his, and to God what is his.
