There is no available data to explain the change in rating given by BS. It is simply playing a hunch, or more likely, trying to lower the price in order to buy for their own accounts. You said exactly the same thing last quarter....it turned out that the analyst just made a good call. Message 20632784 Reading the latest downgrades (coming just a couple of days before the latest earnings, at a time when there is virtually no corporate news, except for a new product announcement), I'm tempted to conclude that the downgrades are self serving--an effort to get the stock price down to a more interesting buying level.
