I don't think there is anything wrong with it. Sounds like what we use: generally we use natural products as much as possible because using glycerin is better than petroleum. We should feel good about your choices. More people need to be like us. The only problem would be someone who is allergic to lavender oil. So, it could be improved by removing the fragrance.

I used to LOVE Dawn dishwashing liquid. I discovered its incredible power by finding that it was the only thing that cut through certainly greasy materials. Incredible.

HOWEVER, ...., I suspect that anything that breaks up oil like that probably also does some really bad stuff to CELL membranes which are oily. So, I stopped using it. Not to mention, there is not a word of labelling allowing me to find out what it actually contained. I tend to look up the chemical structure of stuff and figure out what would be a good thing and what would be a bad thing.
