Don't underestimate the cost of getting transcripts or anything involving the courts. It's outrageous, particularly now in the digital age. Courts are generally just coming into the 20th century, except in big name trials.

As I'm sure you know, it's all done on computers nowadays, so it really shouldn't be expensive.

I know that EDNY, Tony's court, is on ECF, but it's not clear that the court reporter's transcripts are entered. For example, the guilty verdicts are not on the docket as of today. Generally, transcripts are not prepared unless they're ordered by either one of the parties or a third-party. Since both Tony and Royer have indicated that they intend to appeal, more than likely they'll order the transcripts, which will be filed in the record, though that doesn't necessarily mean they'll be retrievable on PACER/ECF. If they are, Jeff, I'd be willing to work on transcribing them with you. Otherwise, I know that I'm going to be ordering a number of them, wealth of information about a RICO trial there.
