Jewel thought of you as the Nice Person? He did?

Well, you said a Very Nice Person PMd you begging you to ban Jewel, and Jewel immediately thought of me.
Ergo....
he thinks I am a Very Nice Person.
It was a warm and fuzzy moment.

By the way, could I recommend a really good book on the ME and Saddam's rise to power? Sandra Mackey's The Reckoning: the Legacy of Saddam Hussein provided me with a very sound historical and cultural foundation about the region and about Saddam several years ago. It helps in placing things in context, not just about how he rose, but about when and how we may or may not have been involved. Mackey also opposed removing him and her reasoning and predictions were what persuaded me that our invading Iraq was a lousy idea at the time. She has since been right about most of what she predicted. It's an excellent read.
I also read Coughlin's book, but felt it was a bit sensationalistic. Easy read though.
