When one studies genealogy, it becomes apparent rather quickly that the word "race" is a non-issue. All of us have 16 great great grandparents, 32 3-great grandparents, etc.... Genes and DNA are the items that make our body....and that can't be described by just "looking at someone"..... A few years ago, we heard a program put on by some of the descendants of Sally Hemmings....one side had been 'of color' and the other side were by appearance 'white'....It was more than interesting to see some of her actual descendants....and hear the stories about "black and white and colors inbetween"... DNA is the actual key.
