Yes, my problem is the timing, and the lack of 90nm capacity on AMD´s part, this year and up to the point whenever Chartered and Fab36 will ship substantial volumes into the marketplace (I would
guess not before H2 2006, and I´m still skeptical if the Chartered deal will work at all, still looks like UMC to me).


I am looking at Chartered as a bonus, or only for the low end output. But I think AMD is working the hardest to get Fab36 online as soon as possible. Optimistically, we may see initial (90nm) production output in Q1 2006, although Q4 2005 is when I think the need will be the greatest, which, unfortunatelly, AMD will not be able to fulfill.
