I'm half-hoping that Hillary runs in 2008 just for the entertainment value, but there's no way I could support her.

If she had either left or shot her husband when the Lewinsky story broke it would be a different story.

I have to admit that I do like and agree with some of her comments:

"There is an opportunity for people of good faith to find common ground in this debate. We should agree that we want every child in this country to be wanted, cherished and loved," Mrs Clinton said. "We can all recognise that abortion in many ways represents a sad, even tragic, choice to many, many women."

She also praised religious groups which have run chastity campaigns for young people, encouraging millions of teenagers to pledge sexual abstinence before marriage. Last week in Boston, Mrs Clinton spoke of God more than a dozen times and stated that she had always been a "praying person".

So now are you all going to start claiming to be "praying persons"?

I see a whole new body of rhetoric coming from the fickle left...Avast yee salors abandon ship ... as we see the fembot rats take their giant leaps... one by one.

Hillary at one time had credibility as a left wing anti-establishment hero. Unfortunately for her, she now gives the impression that she is a sell out opportunist who will say and do anything for political support. If she could refocus a constituency of voters around some principle she might have a future. This might be it and it could be the start of rebuilding the Democratic party.
