I'm not sure why there should be any holdup. Dual core E0 parts have been sampling for months now. I suspect that in this case, AMD has some control over launch timing, and could pull production forward a bit if they wanted to. E0 single core production runs must be starting now, in order to launch around the end of April. Why not throw in some Toledo runs as well? If they discover a major flaw, so be it, but if not, they have a nice surprise.

I assume AMD will release dual core simultaneously in socket 939 and socket 940. Why not? Even if socket 940 only, who cares? Some of these chips will find their way into the desktop market for sure.
