I guess the distinction being made is whether once captured, the morality of the situation changes. Jewel is willing to fight, kill and die in war but once an enemy is neutralized, Geneva Convention applies regardless of consequences to those who can be saved by the torture. What i dont understand why God is not horrified as much by those fighting wars than he is by those trying to prevent catastrophic events?
