tejek, here's the difference between you and me. You see a fly in your house and point to that as the problem. I see the fly hovering over a pile of shit in my house and point to the pile of shit as a root cause of the fly being there in the first place. No, that is not the difference between you and I. The difference is that you see only what you want to see and what fits your biases. When someone on this thread shows you that there is a flaw in your bias, you refuse to accept it and instead find some accuse to change the subject. That is why JF is so frustrated with you. And interestingly enough, its a trait very common to conservatives. I am unclear why. However, the truth is that their are very nice, peace abiding Muslims just as their are violent ones. There are also very nice, peace abiding Christians just as there are violent ones. That is the simple truth. The rest is hyperbole intended to justify our militant actions in the ME. ted

If you could focus for a minute on the real problem in this world. The real problem is Fundamentalist Islam and it's virulently anti-modernisation stance. Authoritarian, imperialist (look out Taiwan, Tibet, India, etc.), nationalist China is a much greater threat to the US and to the "free" world than uneducated, unorganized fundamentalist Islamists. 1.2 billion Chinese are a more serious concern than perhaps 1 million Islamic nutcases. In my never humble opinion!!
