OK. So what you are saying is that if I have two organizations that help feed Children. One is an atheist organization and the other is Christian. One gives food out and teaches about how God does not exist. The other gives food out and teaches about how faith in God, charity for your neighbor, and helping each other, is God's way.

What you're saying is that our gov't, which has programs to help support these not-for-profits, should only be able to give funds to the atheist organization?

You are finding small, insignificant problems that result from a good big picture policy. US tax dollars do not go to support or promote specific religions. That allows equality of religions because they all get equal government support (zero) and is a good thing.

You can waste our time and find little, tiny nit-picky issues that result from that policy, but the policy is a good one and the benefits (government staying out of religion) outweight the supposed harm (the US government cannot support a potentially highly effective religious charity).

'nuff said.
