i keep seeing assertions that fab36 solves amd's cpu capacity problems. what happens if the die size required to stay competitive grows?

Where do you think the R&D is going? Fab36 is being built, and Chartered is being equipped. R&D comes out of revenues *before* earnings are calculated.
