The argument comes down, essentially, to "we have no moral authority to even criticize Saddam, much less seek his political demise, because we're as bad as he is - look, we put him in power." Nonsense. Well let's take the nonsense a step further and proclaim that WE have demonized him... no let's not. Since the perception of his heinous character is of his own making, not our fabricated propaganda about him ... that (proclaiming that WE have demonized him) would be a despicable and dishonorable thing for us to do ... for anyone to do ... right?
