Then I respond - and according to you am starting a food fight. I didn't mean to pick on you. I did not think you were starting a food fight. You were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Having just experienced a couple of days of pretty good argumentation, I couldn't help reacting to the contrast exhibited by M's applauding the more, er, common transactions. It was her applause to which I reacted, not that particular post of your, which, although not up to your usual standard of discourse, didn't not warrant so much negative attention. I'm sorry for that. I still think Dr Summers should resign and I still don't like your politics. So there. That was a joke. We've seen that tack from Mary before. She responded by stating that: I have no explanation for the rest of her comments. I would be interested to hear her explanation of her endorsement of Byrd. I would have asked her for one rather than attributing to her a strawman. It is the attribution of strawmen that triggers so many food fights and makes it hard to have a serious discussion.
