Never started a food fight? That's too bad........you prefer to dig in and engage? BTW I'd like to talk to a racist if only to get some understanding of the history of and experiences behind his or her mindset. I had a brief encounter with a racist on a cruise a few years ago. I ended up avoiding him because of........shall we say.......his offensive verbosity. But with the anonymity the Internet allows, I'd be willing to listen as long as the discussion remained civil and open minded. Something we all realize is possible on Bill's thread. I think people that admire Robert Byrd are willing to overlook his shortcomings, while others can't get past his history. I was hoping Mary might lend some insight as to the former, but she's evidentially not willing or able? Che cosa sarà mai sia! M
