One theory is that they are worried she would make an excellent candidate in 2008 and beyond. Her as a VP candidate would obviate the Hillary factor appear to women. Hillary is hated by more people than any person in recent history. That is what her kinder gentler more centrist talk is about. She can talk the talk, but she still votes far left. I could see me voting for Condi for President in seven or eleven years. She is tough but gentile. I suspect she is smarter than the self proclaimed smarted woman in the world. So, Democrats must start slinging mud now. Just as they leveled bogus charges of untruthfulness and similar things against President Bush. After the Demolibs and their FMSM allies repeat it enough times, unanalytical people start believing it.
