"Thanks for sharing your values -- it says so much and says it so clearly. He was telling a story, no more no less. Had I heard the same story from a neighbor, I would have retold it to Neocon the same way. In fact, what I've noticed is that when one guy tells some torture story he heard, everybody in the room has another one to tell. I'd love to have coffee with Ish and carry a tape recorder with me ... for a week or so. ... he's got an unending supply of interesting anecdotes about his neighbors.
