This is my thread, and I insist that if you are going to call me anything, it is Grainne. I do not care how Irish you are; it is disrespectful to bungle my name in an insulting way. You are not here to judge me. I don't judge other people or chase them around and dissect each of their posts, and you shouldn't either if you want to post here. And I expect to be treated reasonably politely. I won't hang out here if it isn't fun. I can ban anyone I want. That I still try to be fair and not ban people just on whim is amazing after the crap you guys dish out. Any objective person reading the thread the last few days would see that I gave Jewel many chances and warnings. And he is free to come back if he agrees to behave himself. I substantiated all the points I was making on Saddam Hussein with multiple sources of very credible evidence, so I have not idea what you are babbling on about. I also tried to get Jewel to actually talk about his feelings that might be behind what was going on, but he deflected that and went on the attack. I think your phonograph needle might be stuck. Nothing I do here is about the political positions of posters. It is about their behavior. I am so tired of whining people who cannot behave themselves or take responsibility for their own actions getting them in a jam that I don't even have energy left for yoga. My leotard is in a twist again! Incidentally, did you happen to see the alarming new statistics for drug abuse in Ireland? I am quite concerned: Report: Drug use in Ireland among highest in world Levels of ecstasy, cocaine and amphetamine use in Ireland are among the highest in the world, according to a report published today by the 46-nation Council of Europe. The report found that Ireland had the highest levels of ecstasy and amphetamine use in Europe and the second-highest level of cocaine use. The Council of Europe said 3.4% of Irish people aged between 15 and 64 used ecstasy, compared to 2.5% in the Czech Republic and 2% in the United Kingdom. Ireland and the UK were both found to have the highest level of amphetamine use at 1.6%, followed by Denmark at 1.3%. With regard to cocaine, meanwhile, the Council of Europe said 2.4% of Irish people used the drug, compared to 2.6% in Spain and 2.1% in the United Kingdom. irishexaminer.12hs.com
