This story elicited an amusing bias from me - I read the part about Lani Guinier, and my reaction was "Lani Guinier didn't get the job due to nanny problems!"

Wrong. Zoe Baird (white) didn't get the job as attorney general due to nanny problems. Lani Guinier (black) didn't get the job as assistant attorney general due to the political content of things she had written.

I guess this is why God invented google. ;^)

I went to the Harvard site and took that test. I don't feel, and this is how I answered on the prelude that I have any preference of black over white. So I'm a 44yo fat white dood who knows only a hand full of African American people as their percentage of the population here is very low and I test having a strong automatic preference for African American over White American.

Figure that one out.
