<<I stopped following the pump strat thread :).
It was too obvious.
SI usually doesn't get such pumpers, they stay on yahoo.>>

Thats why I dont go to yahoo, except every now and then when time allows to peruse a few boards, although I do not post over there.

Well, SI gets there share of pumpers...not like yahoo and thats normally because SI stays on top of it and does not allow pumping, bashing, spamming and etc.....hopefully, they will keep an eye out on this 'gang' and put a stop to them eventually....IMO, they are breaking SI's TOS....In any event, I am pretty busy, but am still keeping an eye on certain peoples posts and an forwarding them to the proper authorities.

LOL...sorry, can't help but to laugh.....if you look at the other STRAT board and click on the names, it looks like 99% of them have recently signed up to SI within last couple of days/weeks<lol>....

And naturally, they are not talking about anything substantial, just pure pumpy stuff about drinking champagne and all the money they are going to make and people better BUY NOW or it will be too late <g>......

Gosh, I hate being long in a company where people like this are also 'supposedly' long.....I did finally speak with the company and although I will not start talking about huge gains and the boats I will buy, I was satisfied enough to hold the few measly shares I have and will possibly add just a few more ( will not throw alot at this, but may add another 10k or 20k shares.....play money that wont hurt me if it disappears) if it drops to the .5 - .10 area. Then, I'll bail if I get 100% and leave some free shares on the table...or if it keeps dropping, I can always use my strategy of buying a very large lot at the lows, getting my total cost basis down to current levels and then get out even or with a profit on just a small pop...stock can drop to .01 a share and I can get out at .02 or .03 even or with a profit...Only way this doesn't work is if stock is on it's way to it's death bed and never gets a small pop off it's lows........

I just really wish the PUMPERS would leave my stocks alone <g>......I made a mistake last year by telling somebody I really didnt know too well about how easy it was to trade HQNT for good, easy money....buy it in .30/.40's and sell at $1 - $1.25. Was using it as a trading vehicle and made very nice profits and a fairly large lot of 'free shares'....Well, this person ended up buying in and then proceeded to go pump the heck out of it all over the internet..and got others pumping it as well.....Quite a few people contacted me via pm/e-mail and told me they were staying away, as they dont look at stocks being pumped by 'idiots'. Well, the stock went to $3.00+, close to $4 I believe ( I sold some at $1.25, $2, $3 and still hold free shares at about current price of .60....company also pays a dividend in shares of it's own stock and shares of another small penny stock HNST, so have all of that for free)....But, my point being is this was a great stock to trade last year as the charts were too obvious to ignore ( although, since it constantly bounced back down at $1.25ish, I was suprised to see it blow thru that and close in on $4 rather quickly), and if traded properly, you could have had a fair amount of free shares that enjoyed the ride to close to $4....Yet, may people wouldnt even look at the charts, simply because they saw idiots starting to pump it......So, when I am long a stock, and the pumpers get in, I tend to get very leary myself as I know they scare potential buyers away......

Pump and Dump?
This stock has gone from .03 to a high of .20 since
Dec. 10th without a single press release of any kind
from the company. Not a single PR firm has issued any
kind of coverage on the company to potential investors.
So, where's the pump?
The up volume has been MUCH higher than the down volume.
So, where's the dump?
For anyone to claim that Strat Petroleum is some kind
of pump and dump has to be insane or just talking re
an agenda to benefit themselves. (short sellers)
IF this is a pump and dump, it is one of a kind!!!
