Doug, virtually all retail notebooks are sold with Win XP Home, not Pro. This is where I think most AMD notebooks are sold. Corporate is an uphill battle meaning not likely the biggest volume until later.

Please reread my post; I never talked about a special version of Windows for notebooks; I even underlined Home too in my previous post.

The fact that Intel is readying 64b enabled Celerons is the one thing that gives me hope that MS might still enable Win XP Home edition for 64b operation, but as is clear by now I'm not holding my breath. I believe MS might be inclined to only do that when Intel is completely ready, and home pc owners really do need >2GB of memory.
