PBSs are simply a metaphor for unprovable hypotheses... I use PSB commonly when someone proposes something to be absolutely true, but provides no evidence. It's like when the Administration says "Absence of proof is not proof of absence". Of course it is proof of absence, because if one starts to allow unsupported hypotheses as "proof" then the world becomes a confusing mass of things possible, but not probable.

Really, we can't prove some things in some absolute sense (refer to Godel) in our system of logic. So, what really matters is can we demonstrate what is likely, and if you have an opinion, it is just (and only) that, even if you construct it logically. It becomes as meaningless as "This sentence is true." unless you provide some other constructive support with it. For you, lefties, as you call those who disagree, are wrong. No proof required, nothing they opine can be right. Okay, 110 VAC will kill you if you drop a toaster in the tub with you. One lefty, one truth, or maybe you doubt it because a "lefty" said it? So, I've established that sometimes, like the stopped clock, lefties are correct. But how often? Well, about this war, I've been consistently correct. I said there were no WMD's. I was right. Others said there were: they were wrong (but now say, it doesn't matter!)

You frustrate any understanding of your position because you simply opine. There is no linkage of your beliefs to the outside world. You simply say it, and let it sit out there. Why should anyone bother to discuss anything with you?
