Are grace periods on credit card debts and rents going the way of the dodo bird?

Credit card companies have been steadily reducing grace periods until we have now reached the point where people who do not sent in their payments within a few days of receiving their statement are in real danger of being assessed high and rising late payment fees.

No I am hearing about a similar trend for apartment rental and condominium maintenance payments.

Still more woes for the financially strapped and people living paycheck to paycheck

The "ownership society" in action.

Canadian oil sands produce oil at under $9 per barrel
most US-based production is around $12-14 per barrel
most Russian is at least that

Saudi has cheap oil, but its production cost is under-stated
with all the hydro pressure used, costs are above $4/bbl
that is an old figure

Saudi cannot torpedo anybody
it is like saying the Alamo will storm Santa Ana
