What was Clinton's response to the first WTC bomb? They inflicted major damage to it. He allowed the AG to prosecute the local perpetrators, and refused to accept OBL. That is resolve. As for national security, it stinks. Its been three years since 9/11 and you can still get on a plane with box cutters. The Clintons eviscerated National Security. They wouldn't let the Secret Service close, and apparently were hated by the Secret Service agents. They oversaw Madame Waco (Janet Reno), whose top lieutenant Jamie Gorelick issued the famous memo blocking intelligence sharing that is blamed for most of the intelligence failures (except by Democrats doing their best Wizard of Oz impression). It takes time to restore intelligence after such a thorough decimation. President Bush is doing a good job of getting it back on track. Do not forget, we have the authoritarian liberalist left complaining you have to search as many grandmothers as potential terrorists. That hampers the effort dramatically. Condi Rice is an embarrassment and a joke over in Europe among our former allies. There is reason why she got the fewest yes votes for a Sec. of State since Henry Clay. Instead of really looking at her credentials, all you all can do is play the race card. Pathetic! Over the top pathetic! The vote against Condi was whacko leftie politics of destruction. With whackos like KKK Byrd, Treasonous Kerry, Captain Chappaquiddick Kennedy, and embarrassment Boxer, the vote on Condi was gut check time. Democrat Senators guts voted for her. Only those totally behoven the destructive elements of the left voted against her. Your imagination has you saying things about Condi that are indefensible. I normally respect you, but on this one, you are wrong.
