Ted, The superpower fantasies that the EU was pursuing prior to Mr. Bush were economic ones, not militaristic. Bush has changed all that. Might be a change for the better, if you think about it. But that doesn't change the notion that the EU is dreaming. As for China its been a military superpower for years........to whom do you think we lost Vietnam? Or Korea, but that only supports my point. The currency issue is a minor one, as if China was behaving just because they pegged their currency to ours.
