No. Money Market funds can have huge swings and I have never found any logic to the moves.

Having said that, one has to wonder if all this reported "money on the side line" are not coming back to the market but rather for other things such as mortgage payments on macmansions.

Not in this environment. First of all they don't pay any interest to speak of. Then, Maybe the money is needed to put a few bucks down on real estate for a real return, humm. Or maybe some people just need a few bucks to live on.

Pretty obvious people aren't using it to buy stocks.
