I agree that was beside the point of this trial. However, the jury found Tony innocent of obstructing that investigation, so it would seem the jury carefully considered those allegations and disregarded them. If the jury did not, then I agree there would be a prejudice problem.

That's a mis-statement of what happened, at least from the summaries I read.
