What I'm getting at here is that there may be a perception change away from near term earnings to huge upside earnings growth potential in the minds of "valuation model builders" with these new product intros!

Well. You are in excellent company with Bob [Wizard of Notes] Rivet in this respect. He said "Watch out for 07".

Horizon of stock investments has been subject of research for more than hundred years. Findings are consistent that it fluctated between six and eighteen months. Trending to the lower edge recently. Consequently, EPS forecasts for 06 are the farthest projections of the current focus.

Insofar, it would need more than a perception change, rather a paradigm change. Which is something very very few people are able to accomplish. Although herd (TM Drbes) movements occasionally are falsely interpreted as such.

If you allow me a sidenote of perception versus paradigm change wrt to your own moves: You might have noticed I complimented you for your Q4-change of contest entry - although giving you the doubt of an error wrt assuming it was not really just sort of an intellectual hedge-bet against your money. Anyway, I consider this as an impressive perception change.
No paradigm change, though. :)
