Americans will remember that Democrats lied to them about the possibility of peace in Iraq. Attempting to once again snatch defeat from the jaws of victory will backfire this time. After 2008, Democrats will probably not even have enough votes to sustain a filibuster cloture vote. That is really nice, you can cut and snip only the bad news. Lets ignore the building of schools, hospitals. Dramatic increase in power production, allowing reliable 24 hour electricity to flow for the first time ever. Ignore the dramatic increase in availability of potable water. Ignore the improvement in medical health of the citizens. Ignore the birth of a representative government. Keep your head down, good news might hit you if you don't.
